I think the guy planted a banana peel in there before his stunt, since I imagine the changes of actually clicheing out a banana peel from the trash on the first try are pretty low. (It was the biodegradable thing; everything else was recyclable.) I'm not altogether certain he worked for the park, given the violent manner in which he threw himself into a random public trash can that I'd just dropped my gum into, and the way he spit in our faces excitedly while he talked.
