Why hello thar.

Well, it’s been a while since my last post, and this is the reason why… My computer died! I’m currently typing this post on my Ibook. My PC died in the middle of a game of warcraft 3. I was playing (kicking ass, mind you), and all of a sudden everything froze up. So my typical reaction is, fuck! I was kickin’ ass! and then I restarted the ol’ PC. However, to my sadness, it didn’t recover. It boots up, but nothing shows up on screen, so a number of things could have happened. My guess is the hard drive blew out. Ah well, I got it before my freshman year of college, so it’d be almost 5 years old now, so it’s about that time to get a new computer. Any suggestions?

I’ve found certain nuances of the Macintosh that I do thoroughly enjoy, but it’s just not the same. I’ve grown so accustomed to the PC that using a Mac is like trying to write left handed. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the Mac is a SOLID machine. Even better than the PC in some aspects, but it just doesn’t feel right to me. If I had to buy another laptop I would definitely stick to the Ibook series, but when it comes down to a desktop, I’m PC all the way. Though I did hear about the new Mac desktops being able to run OSX and Windows XP… so that would be an interesting route to take. Mac prices have been going down a lot, and are very competetive if not better than most PC’s in the hardware department, but I’m just too used to the junky PC to switch over. With that being said… who wants to buy a P.O.S. computer that’s 5 years old and doesn’t work? Anyone? I’ll take any offer!
