Today is a holiday
Lucky 13.
I’ve don’t think I’ve ever had a bad “Friday the 13th.” With so many people worrying about what can go wrong, that leaves a lot of enjoying the what-has-went-good for me to do.
It seems sort of counter-intuitive to give Friday a bad rep. I mean, it’s Friday — end of most people’s work/school/whatever week and time for the weekend to begin. Sure, I’ve had to work late Fridays, had to anticipate working yet another Saturday. Overall, though, Friday is a little party. “We’ve made it through one more week! Holy shit!”
So, think of Friday the 13th of a challenge to make this Friday better than any other, rather than a day of superstitious loathing (perhaps that a slight overstatement, but anyway…). Just remember, “Hey, it’s Friday!”
