Cripes! (I hope I haven’t already used this title..)
The spammers are going crazy, it seems. I’ve read that email spam is back on the rise, but hell, I’ve been getting 400-600 attempted spam comments per day (luckily, they’re being blocked very nicely by Akismet).
A few are getting through to my shoutbox, but that’s not quite as protected. It has functioned well, though, blocking 30,654 bogus entries as of right now. Perhaps I can rig up Akismet to watch over it as well, for a little added umph.. hmm.
I have a plan.. that last link is a clue. Oh, but am I too lazy to go through with it?
