Many of you internet peoples have probably seen the hyponotist hoax by Improv Everywhere, but I think their latest “mission” (as they like to call them) is even better. Check out the video for a glimpse.
Sound interesting? Check out the mission log, complete with photos and more videos. I especially like the employee and improvee (let’s pretend that’s a word) reactions.
Thanks to John for reminding me about Improv Everywhere, EVEN THOUGH HE COULD JUST AS WELL HAVE POSTED THE LINK HERE HIMSELF. Harrumph.
While on IRC, we were seeking the “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” intro, but first found this astoundingly wonderful musical gem:
I could watch that 1000 times in a row, honestly. Anyway..
This video led me to Prince Adam’s Fabulous Secret Journal, where I learned more about the real Prince Adam. Luckily, one of his posts led me to something as equally amazing as (or perhapse more amazing than! No offense, Prince Adam!) his video.
From Barrester’s Xanga (Note: I have no idea who this is, but he should be treated as an international superstar, accordingly. You’ll understand after you watch the video.), give this masterpiece a whirl! And just incase the universe implodes and that Xanga post is lost (not likely with He-Man on the job), here’s a direct link. And rest assured.. I have copies saved on three separate computers, CD-Rs, DVD-Rs, Zip disks, and floppies in case anything goes awry.
One last thing! I aquired something from The International House of Bacon. No, not clogged arteries.. an mp3!
Robby Roadsteamer – I Put A Baby In You
And like all good things on the internet, there is, of course, a video.
I was blown away by this video. I can’t believe I had never heard of this guy until I watched this video tonight! Check out RaulMidon.com.
His album, “State of Mind,” even features songs with Jason Mraz and Stevie Wonder.. Wow. Y’know, his voice reminded me a lot of Stevie while I was listening. I gotta check this album out.
Ok this is definitely not entirely safe for work. Something this amazingly well done must be shared, however.
I sort of liked the real version of this Kodak commercial when I saw it, but this is even better!
Enjoy.
Danger Mouse + Cee-Lo = Gnarls Barkley = holy shit.
Now folks, I’m not jolking here. You are all required to buy this CD right now. Why? Because it’s amazing. What more reason do you need?
The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain doing “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” Winnar.
